Surface Preparation – Pressure Washing, Water Blasting & Ultra-High-Pressure Washing

Pressure washing is the bare minimum of cleaning methods recommended for preparation of exterior surfaces. Exterior paint will chalk overtime when exposed to the sun, and this chalked film will break the bond of any future paint coatings applied over it. It is important to remove all the chalked film prior to coating, or you will have a very short life paint system, regardless of the quality or performance characteristics of the paint.

Normal pressure washing in the 2,400 to 4,000 psi range (pounds per square inch) will remove the chalked film, and can also remove light surface corrosion in preparation of applying a coating system.

Ultra-high-pressure washing can also be used to clean corroded areas and can sometimes be used as an alternative to grit blasting. The results depend to a very large extent on the condition of the surface. Compact corrosion scale cannot be completely removed at a reasonable rate until pressures exceed 2100 kg/cm2 (30,000 psi).

Induspray is a highly experienced and qualified high-pressure washing and power washing company in Toronto, able to tackle projects of any size.

What Our Clients Say

Induspray painted 4 large stamping presses for us and were able to complete the work with minimal disruption to our production schedule. First rate equipment painters.

Andy and his crew cannot be more recommended. In all our dealings, he was professional and honest. The quality of the work was excellent, and the price was reasonable. Thanks again.

A professional painting contractor that I would recommend to anyone.

The crew from Induspray did a great job for us. We had our entire warehouse ceiling painted (at over 85,000 sqft), and they were in and out in less than the originally estimated time. I would definitely recommend them.

All the walls in our plant were painted and it all looks great now. Very happy with the work and the price we obtained.
